Compliance Testing by Municipalities
Most of the area municipalities have finished the lateral testing for their original deadlines for compliance. Pressure testing may still be required for years to come if the property warrants. Some of the reasoning for retesting are as follows:
- Transfer of Property or Selling Property
- routine inspections by the municipality for inflow at the view port
- 0riginal test certificate expired requiring retest.
It’s best too check with the sewer a uthor ity for the municipality that the property is in for the specific details of retesting as each Authority has different guidelines.
Before you Call:
- Acquire the popper form and pay the fee
- Make sure the view port at the end of the property is located and exposed in order to test
- Call to set up the inspection
